Pratt Center Hosts Spring EnergyFit House Tour

On Thursday, April 23, Pratt Center for Community Development, together with community partners IMPACCT Brooklyn and Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, hosted a tour of two EnergyFit homes.

Homeowners opened their doors to funders, partners, and collaborators to share firsthand experiences of the clean energy upgrades completed through the program.

The tour took place on a sunny day during Earth Week and offered a close look at what home decarbonization can deliver, including improved comfort, better indoor air quality and health outcomes, more efficient energy use, reduced gas consumption, and safer living conditions.

The event also created space for funders, community organizations, and public agencies working on the clean energy transition to connect, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another.
