Hannah Berkin-Harper

Industrial Design

Hannah Berkin-Harper is an Industrial Designer and lead of HBH Studio, her consultancy for products and projects for a variety of clients with a focus on environmental sustainability. She currently collaborates with Street Lab on public projects for Open Streets around the City, and is also the Industrial Design Lead at Aduri, a start-up innovating products for meditation.

Hannah teaches both Undergraduate and Graduate level courses at Pratt and has also taught at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Montclair State University. She also serves as a mentor for Design for America at NYU, an OpenIDEO chapter. Hannah was a Senior Designer at Karim Rashid’s studio for nearly a decade, designing furniture, tabletop, consumer products and packaging for clients large and small all over the world. She holds a Master’s in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and an AB in Studio Art from Vassar College.
