Izzy Lane

Izzy is a Climate Initiatives Graduate Fellow at the Pratt Center focusing on the EnergyFit NYC program and a climate justice partnership with WeACT.

She is a second year graduate student in the Urban & Community Planning program at Pratt Institute, where she is also pursuing an advanced certificate in Sustainable Environmental Systems.

During her time at Pratt, she has worked as a graduate assistant, at the campus CSA market, and for Randalls Island Park Alliance. She also completed a fellowship at North Brooklyn Parks Alliance’s native plant nursery under the Kosciuszko Bridge.

Her academic interests include agricultural & food systems and housing justice. Izzy holds an undergraduate degree in Politics from the University of Virginia. She grew up in New Orleans, where she learned to love live music and dodge potholes.
