Haidong Yang

With a background in photography, Haidong Yang graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Pratt Institute.
Having worked both as a photographer and as an independent curator, Haidong has contributed to and led a number of exhibitions, art festivals, and cultural projects across China and the United States.
Across his varied roles, he remains committed to expanding public access to art and fostering dialogue between diverse cultures and local communities.
Building on his previous communications work at the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Haidong Yang now serves as a Communications Fellow with Made in NYC at the Pratt Center, where he helps amplify the stories of New York’s vibrant local manufacturing communities and share their creative impact with a broader public.
